Mackinac Island Lilac Festival
The Lilac Festival is an annual festival held in honor of the lilac at Mackinac Island. This festival is timed to try to coincide with the week that the Island’s lilacs are in bloom. Bunches of white and purple flowers adorn the whole island. When you arrive on the Island via Shepler’s Church Ferry you will be welcomed by our host, the Island House. Attractions and events are located close by this beautiful hotel overlooking the harbor.

The Henry Ford is one of the world's premier historical destinations. The collections are unparalleled, the experience is unique and immersive, and the historical expertise is unmatched. The Henry Ford Museum, is home to everything from the bus where Rosa Parks sparked the nation's social conscience, to the Kennedy Limousine. There even is the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile. The sights and sounds of the American experience are prevalent throughout the Village. You can step into the courthouse where Abraham Lincoln practiced law.
A Mountain Adventure
Snowshoe Mountain Inn, located in the Snowshoe Resort, will offer you a spectacular mountain experience. For two nights the Inn will be your retreat at the base of Cheat Mountain and Back Allegheny Mountain. It' "All Aboard" the Cass Scenic railway that will transport you back in time to relive an era when seam driven locomotives were an essential of everyday life. This rail line is the same built in 1901 to haul lumber to the Cass mills. The Shay locomotive will allow a train stop in Whittaker Station after two switch back processes.

We will start this summer vacation with an Atlantic City Skyline Cruise with a free afternoon and an evening filled with eating, playing and riding at Wildwood’s Boardwalk. The next day we will head to Cape May for an unzipped trolley ride. You will have free time to explore Cape May and shop on Washington Mall. Before heading home we will have a nice free day on your own to do more exploring or just relaxing at the Resorts Casino Hotel.

A Swingin' Christmas
To get in the holiday spirit we will be going to the Dutch Apple Theatre for their tradition that has made Dutch Apple a favorite for Christmas entertainment.
